Studio Misr Cairo (1935)

Studio Misr, founded in 1935 by Talaat Harb's Banque Misr, was Egypt's first true film studio and the engine of Egyptian cinema's golden age. Its title cards and Deco cinema interiors married sepia-and-gold Art-Deco frames with geometric papyrus and lotus motifs.

This design system distills that aesthetic: an aged silver-nitrate brown ground, gilded inscriptional caps in Marcellus and Cinzel, ornate hand-lettered Arabic in Aref Ruqaa, and symmetrical Deco framing over a faint photographic grain.

米斯尔制片厂由塔拉特·哈尔卜的米斯尔银行于1935年创立，是埃及第一家真正的电影制片厂，开启了埃及电影的黄金时代。它的片头卡片与装饰艺术风格的影院内饰，以棕褐与鎏金的Art-Deco边框，配以几何化的纸莎草与莲花纹样而著称。

本设计系统将这一气质提炼为数字语言：陈年硝酸银胶片般的棕褐底色、Marcellus 与 Cinzel 的鎏金碑刻大写字母、Aref Ruqaa 的华丽手写阿拉伯文，以及覆于淡淡照相颗粒之上的对称装饰艺术框架。绝不使用米白或纯白——底色永远是那片陈旧的硝酸银棕褐。
