Stranger Things (1983)

ProMax

This is the moment the title card blooms out of the dark — a fat, spurred serif crawling toward the camera, drenched in red neon that bleeds a halo into pure black. Everything sits on near-black; the red is a light source, not a fill, so headlines glow rather than print. It is 1983 Indiana filtered through VHS tracking lines, Amblin bike-ride wonder, and the cold blue rot of the Upside Down leaking in at the edges. Body copy carries the warmth of a dog-eared Stephen King paperback, lab labels clack out in government-issue mono, and drifting spores keep it from ever going sterile.
