Squid Game (2021)

Free

Squid Game turns the palette of childhood into an instrument of dread. Fuchsia guard suits, teal tracksuits, and candy-pastel Escher stairways stay relentlessly cheerful while the layout underneath turns menacing — playground colors, panopticon logic. The three masked-guard glyphs — circle, triangle, square — become a whole iconographic grammar.

Everything is flat, graphic, oversized, and a little too clean. Numbers stencil across chests, surfaces hold poster-paint blocks with zero bevels, and a single tilted plane interrupts hard right-angle grids. The tension is the point: smile for the guards, the exit is only a shape away.
