Among Us is the visual language of a lie told at 2am — the bean-shaped crewmate in a loud costume color, floating against the black-navy vacuum of a derelict ship. Everything is flat vector: thick cartoon outlines, hard drop shadows with no blur, no gradients, no gloss. It was built to read instantly across a compressed Discord screen-share.
One shape drives it all — the capsule silhouette repeated in buttons, chips, vents and vote cards. Twelve unmixed playground colors carry the meaning: imposter red, crewmate blue, task-bar green. The aesthetic says trust is a UI element, and it is about to break it.
