About Simón Vélez Bamboo
A system built from the inside of a Simón Vélez building: the page is golden guadua cane, the ink is the dark brown of aged culms and joint shadow, and the accents are terracotta roof tile, copper flashing and grey cement.
Layouts are organised like his sections rather than his elevations — a heavy roof band overhanging the content, panels that read as canes laid side by side, and joints drawn openly as steel plates bolted through mortar-filled nodes.
