Estonian Limestone Gray

Estonian Limestone Gray draws from paekivi — the dolomitic carbonate stone that is Estonia's national rock — dry-laid into the medieval walls and 26 towers of Tallinn's UNESCO Old Town. The reading is a soft, very pale limestone gray with a faint warm-buff mineral cast, kept neutral and a touch darker than off-white so it reads unmistakably as weathered Hanseatic stone, never cream.

The system pairs that sober mineral palette with blackletter display type and Garamond body text — a register of incised stone plaques and rough fossil-pocked coursing rather than polished modern surfaces.

爱沙尼亚石灰岩灰取材自 paekivi——爱沙尼亚的国石，一种白云质碳酸盐石灰岩，被干砌进塔林老城（联合国教科文世界遗产）那约 1.85 公里城墙与 26 座塔楼之中。它呈现为一种柔和、极淡的石灰岩灰，带着隐约温暖的浅黄矿物色调，保持中性、比米白略深，因而无可争议地读作风化的汉萨同盟石材，绝非奶油色。

本设计系统将这一沉稳的矿物色板与黑体（blackletter）标题字、加拉蒙正文字相配——呈现的是嵌墙石牌、镌刻文字与粗糙化石斑驳石层的气质，而非光滑的现代表面。
