SANAA White Lightness

SANAA — the practice of Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa — builds weightless architecture from ultra-thin white steel, curved glass, and diffuse white interiors. In works like the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art Kanazawa and the Rolex Learning Center, the ground is never flat paper-white but a faintly cool silver-white: the blue-grey cast of daylight washing through glass.

This system translates that luminosity into an interface. Pure white is the signature plane, supported by a silver-grey shadow ramp, hairline borders, and thin geometric sans throughout — abundant air, minimal contrast, no weight.

SANAA 是妹岛和世（Kazuyo Sejima）与西泽立卫（Ryue Nishizawa）的建筑事务所，以极薄的白色钢构、弯曲玻璃与漫射光的白色内部空间著称。在金泽 21 世纪美术馆、洛桑劳力士学习中心等作品中，底色从不是平淡的纸白，而是一种微微偏冷的银白——光线穿过玻璃时投下的蓝灰色调。

本设计系统将这份轻盈与通透转译为界面语言：纯白是标志性的平面，由银灰色的阴影渐变层、发丝般的细线边框与纤瘦的几何无衬线字体共同支撑。大量留白、极弱对比、近乎失重——一切都漂浮在冷调的日光之中。
