Polish Wycinanki Pink

ProMax

Łowicz wycinanki are the multicolor, layered, glossy papercuts (nalepianki) of central Poland, made between roughly 1900 and 1950. Village artists cut hot-pink roosters, stars, and flowers from saturated glossy paper and glued them into bilaterally symmetrical bouquets.

Traditionally pasted onto whitewashed cottage walls so the saturated color pops, this folk craft turns scissors and bright paper into joyful, crisp-edged collage. This system translates that tactile maximalism into flat color planes, layered z-stacks, and folk-pink exuberance on a clean cool-white ground.
