About Paystack

Paystack started in Lagos in 2015 with a narrow job: let a Nigerian business take a card payment online. Five years later it was the continent's best-known payments API, and Stripe bought it without changing the name on the door.

The system is a white dashboard and documentation site set in navy ink — tables, code wells, integration guides — broken at intervals by full-width navy bands and photographs of real merchants in their own shops. Four flat cyan bars do the only decorating.
