Mineral Specimen Plate

ProMax

The mineral specimen plate is the visual grammar of the museum cabinet: faceted crystals lit hard against a black ground so that color and luster carry. Amethyst purple leads, flanked by azurite blue and malachite green, while thin axial diagrams trace the crystal systems beside each name.

This is science as ornament — engraved Roman capitals for plate titles, technical serifs for notation, and glassy gem surfaces that read as cut stone rather than cartoon jewels. Every panel behaves like a specimen tray under a lamp.
