Beetle Specimen Cabinet

ProMax

A Victorian entomology cabinet rendered as a design language: rows of pinned jewel beetles whose structural green burns against a near-black velvet ground, sealed beneath shallow glass-topped mahogany drawers. Brass pins glint, and hand-written paper labels carry the taxonomy in faded engraver's type.

The signature is iridescence — elytra that shift from deep forest through emerald to a bright structural highlight depending on the angle of light. Everything else recedes: the black ground, the warm mahogany frame, the small cream labels. The beetles do the speaking.
