Cuadra San Cristóbal is a stable, a house, a pool and a fountain arranged as standing planes of colour. A long pink stucco wall runs the north–south axis; a lower purple wall sits beside it; ochre rammed earth and green pasture take the ground. Nothing is applied ornament.
Built for the screen, the referent means one thing: the wall is the page. Colour is not a background to put content on, it is the content's own substance. Text is near-black or lime-wash white, layout is asymmetric, and empty pink is load-bearing.
