About Lagos Danfo Slogans
The danfo is Lagos's yellow minibus, and the yellow is not a choice — the 2018 Transport Sector Reform Law requires it, and LASTMA impounds anything else. Underneath the mandated coat sits cheap enamel over filler and rust, respray on respray, and across it run the slogans: No condition is permanent. No King as God. Blood of Jesus.
This system takes that body panel as its ground. Two black flank stripes set the horizontal band structure, slogans sit large and fitted between them, and the type is Afrotype's Danfo — a Tuscan slab reverse-engineered in 2022 from the hand-cut vinyl on these buses.
