About Kinfolk
A quarterly that started with dinner tables in Portland and ended up as an object people keep on the shelf in Copenhagen. Each spread is a white matte sheet, one photograph lit by a single window, and a headline in a fine-hairline serif. Most of the page is left empty on purpose.
This theme keeps that rhythm: true white paper, near-black type, hairline rules instead of boxes, small-caps sans for every caption and folio, and the occasional full-bleed black page to reset the eye.
