Persian Gray Stone Relief

Persian Gray Stone Relief draws from the bas-reliefs of Persepolis — the Apadana stairway and the Gate of All Nations — where processions of tribute-bearers were incised into locally quarried Achaemenid limestone. Millennia of exposure weathered the stone to a smoky gray-brown, with near-black shadow pooling in the deep carved channels.

This system honors the documented weathered artifact, not its lost polychromy. It is built on warm limestone grays, deep incised shadow, and monumental carved serif capitals — a horizontal, banded, frieze-like composition of mottled stone surfaces.

波斯灰岩浮雕取材于波斯波利斯的浮雕石刻——阿帕达纳台阶与万国之门——成排的纳贡使者被刻入当地开采的阿契美尼德石灰岩。历经千年风化，石面化作烟灰般的灰褐色，深刻的凿槽中积淀着近乎纯黑的阴影。

本设计系统忠实于这一历经风化的实物状态，而非其早已褪去的彩绘。它以温暖的石灰岩灰、深刻的凹陷阴影与雄浑的雕刻衬线大写字母为基础，构建出横向、带状、如石刻饰带般的斑驳石面构图，致敬大流士一世与薛西斯一世的帝国石工传统。
