Intercom Modern

Intercom is the customer messaging platform that made business chat feel personal. Founded in Dublin in 2011 by Eoghan McCabe and Des Traynor, it pioneered the in-app messenger widget that let companies talk to users in real time, blurring the line between product and support.

The modern visual identity (2022–2024) centers on a signature electric indigo-blue, oversized portrait photography, and rounded chat-bubble geometry. With the launch of Fin, its AI agent, Intercom proved that automated support could still feel warm, human, and approachable.
