Indian Jamun Violet Handloom

Indian jamun handloom is a vernacular Bengali textile: handspun cotton dyed the ripe plum-violet of the jamun (Java plum), a natural anthocyanin colour from the same family as plum and blackcurrant. Fine supplementary-weft motifs are inlaid by hand in pale natural cotton, the deep dyed ground set off by delicate brocade figuring.

This design system translates that craft into a matte digital language — a dyed-cloth ground of jamun violet, plum-stain primary tones, and pale-thread inlay reserved strictly for motif and contrast, never the page. It reads as woven panels, not glossy silk.

印度贾姆达尼手织布是一种地道的孟加拉乡土织物：手纺棉布染上熟透的紫蓝色蒲桃（爪哇李）之色—— 一种与李子、黑加仑同属的天然花青素染料。匠人以补纬手法将细密花纹用本色棉线手工挑织于布上， 深染的底色被淡雅的提花纹样轻轻衬托。

本设计系统将这份手艺转化为哑光的数字语言：以蒲桃紫为染布底色，配以李渍般的紫红主色调， 而淡本色棉线的米黄仅作为纹样与对比之用，绝不充当页面背景。它呈现的是手织布面板的质感， 而非光亮的丝绸。
