About Gustavsberg Berså
Berså is one motif, one green and one repeat. Stig Lindberg drew the leaf with Krister Karlmark in 1960 and Gustavsberg printed it in even upright rows across transparent-glazed white porcelain until 1974. The stem and midrib are near-black and load-bearing; without them the silhouette goes flat.
As an interface the pattern behaves the same way. White is the body, not a backdrop — the interval between leaves is designed as carefully as the leaf. Layouts stay symmetrical, gaps stay generous, and the green never floods the page.
