Gulf Racing Livery

ProMax

The Gulf Oil racing livery is the most recognisable paint scheme in motorsport: a pale powder-blue body split by one broad orange centre stripe, worn by the John Wyer GT40 Le Mans winners of 1968 and 1969 and by Steve McQueen's Porsche 917. Two complementary colours, nothing more.

This system treats the powder-blue body panel as the canvas — never white — crossed by saturated orange and punctuated with black-on-white roundel race numbers. Squared technical numerals, flat gloss panels, and zero ornament translate late-1960s endurance racing into a clean, fast interface language.
