Wildstyle Graffiti

ProMax

Wildstyle is the most complex form of New York graffiti — interlocking, arrowed letters that fold into near-illegible abstraction, sprayed in fluorescent and electric colors over weathered brick and subway-car steel.

Pioneered by Tracy 168 in the mid-1970s Bronx and peaking through the 1980s, it is aggressive, layered street lettering on a dark urban substrate — hard black outlines, neon fills, highlights, and drips.
