Gospel Quartet

Gospel Quartet draws on the close-harmony groups that defined Black gospel from the 1950s through the 1980s — the Soul Stirrers, Dixie Hummingbirds, and Swan Silvertones on Peacock, Specialty, Vee-Jay, and Savoy. The visual world is the Southern sanctuary at night: a deep liturgical purple lit by gilded, haloed light, where royalty and penitence live in purple and divinity and glory live in gold.

Engraved serif label type, radiant light-rays, gold rule lines, and arched centered symmetry carry the weight of stained glass and pressed-vinyl sleeves. Nothing here is parchment-pale or flat; every surface glows as if catching candlelight in a darkened church.
