In 1975 a NASA Ames summer study asked what it would take to live permanently off Earth, and answered with a spinning ring. Don Davis and Rick Guidice painted the inside of it in oil: hardwood decking, farm terraces climbing a curved floor, and light fed down through louvred mirrors.
This system takes that record literally. The ground is dusk-phase timber, the light is lamp-warm and directional, and every surface has been walked on by people who were born aboard. Nothing here is chrome, and nothing glows blue.
