Gauchito Gil Shrine

ProMax

Gauchito Gil is Argentina's beloved folk saint, and his roadside shrines bloom red along the highways of Corrientes near Mercedes. Devotees tie red flags and ribbons recalling his blood-soaked neck-scarf, paint shrines crimson, and keep brass candles burning in the soot-darkened dark.

This design system distills that votive vernacular into the screen — a deep blood-red shrine wall, vivid devotional and flag reds, warm brass candle glow, and aged warm paper, layered like hand-painted folk signage. Heavy slab and earnest serifs carry the hand-lettered devotional voice.
