Dragonfly Wing Venation

Early-20th-century Odonata taxonomy keys traced dragonfly wing venation as lace-fine diagrams — nodus and pterostigma vein networks inked in cyan-grey on aged technical reference sheets. The look is precise and diagrammatic: a foxed warm-grey paper carrying delicate vein lattices and one dark opaque pterostigma cell.

This system distills that draughtsmanship into an interface language — all line and label, single-colour ink economy, ruled margins, and leader-line callouts that read like a printed taxonomy key.

二十世纪上半叶的蜻蜓目（Odonata）分类检索表，把蜻蜓翅脉描成蕾丝般纤细的图谱——结脉（N）与翅痣（Pt）的脉络网络以青灰墨色绘于陈旧的技术参照纸上。整体精确而图解化：泛黄起斑的暖灰底纸承载着细密的脉络格栅，仅有一格深色不透明的翅痣单元。

本设计系统将这种西欧昆虫学制图传统转化为界面语言——只见线条与标注、单色墨线的克制经济、画线的页边，以及如同印刷检索表般的引线注记。
