Havana Modernist Gray

Havana Modernist Gray distills the post-1959 tropical modernism of Cuba's National Art Schools — Ricardo Porro, Vittorio Garatti, and Roberto Gottardi's Catalan-vaulted brick domes and piloti grids — into a strict cool-gray monochrome.

The reading is sun-bleached, grime-streaked board-formed concrete render: matte, faintly sandy from decades of tropical sun, never cream and never white. Brise-soleil louvers cast soft banded shadows across floating slabs and columns.

「哈瓦那现代主义灰」提炼自 1959 年后古巴国家艺术学校的热带现代主义——里卡多·波罗、维托里奥·加拉蒂与罗伯托·戈塔尔迪那些加泰罗尼亚拱顶的砖砌穹隆与独立柱网格——并将其凝练为一种冷调灰的单色体系。
