Circassian gold braid is the raised couched galloon soutache worked along the edges of a nineteenth-century Caucasian noble's chokha or caftan — gold-thread cord coiling into angular ram's-horn motifs against dark indigo-and-black wool broadcloth. The couched metallic thread reads three-dimensionally, lace-like and luminous, precisely because the wool ground stays deep and matte.
This design system translates that costume vocabulary to screen: a dark indigo-black page ground, galloon gold as the single true signature, narrow braid at the top edge and wide braid at the hem, with olive-sage trim and calligraphic serifs carrying the courtly, hand-worked temperament.
