Cassette Futurism

ProMax

Cassette Futurism is the retro-future aesthetic of late-1970s and early-1980s science fiction — the world imagined through CRT monitors, chunky toggle switches, magnetic tape, and amber monochrome terminals. The touchstone is the Nostromo's putty-plastic consoles in Ridley Scott's 1979 Alien.

This system reads the "Greenhouse-clean" interpretation: glowing amber text on a warm near-black screen rather than the beige casing around it. Scanline bloom, blocky bitmap type, and gunmetal bezels carry the analog weight; phosphor amber and P1 green do the talking.
