Campo Baeza Luminous White

Alberto Campo Baeza builds pure white travertine and stucco boxes flooded with light — Caja Granada, Casa Gaspar, Casa de Blas. His radiant white reads most dramatically not in flat brightness but against the cavernous cathedral shadow he sets it in: deep recessed voids and windows sinking into darkness.

This system stages that alabaster-glow atrium in its own deep shadow, where cool travertine white floats as luminous planes against an almost-black cathedral gray — drama through contrast, not decoration. Más con menos.
