Bulgarian Revival Woodcarving

Bulgarian National Revival woodcarving is the dense iconostasis relief of the Debar, Samokov, Tryavna and Bansko schools — sun-rosettes and vine lattice cut deep into dark stained walnut, raised crests catching gold leaf above near-black shadowed recesses.

This design system translates that hand-chiselled ecclesiastical surface into the digital field: a walnut ground that is never cream, gilding confined to raised highlights, and old-world liturgical serifs that carry the weight of the church interior.

保加利亚民族复兴时期的木雕，是德巴尔、萨莫科夫、特里亚夫纳与班斯科诸学派打造的密实圣障浮雕——太阳花饰与葡萄藤蔓格栅深深刻入深色胡桃木，凸起的脊线在近乎全黑的凹陷阴影之上闪着金箔的光泽。

本设计系统将这一手工凿刻的教堂表面转化为数字语言：永不泛奶白的胡桃木底色、仅施于凸起高光的鎏金，以及承载教堂内殿重量的古典礼拜衬线字体。在每一处雕花与阴影之间，重现复兴时代圣障的虔敬质感。
