About Benthic Research Outpost
Two kilometres down there is no ambient light. The world exists only inside a lamp cone, and outside it the water is a flat blue-black void. This system is built for that room: a darkened control van where the displays are the sole light source.
Cyan carries the interface because cyan is the wavelength that physically survives seawater. Panels butt edge to edge like an instrument rack, colour keys follow ISO 14726 rather than an invented scheme, and every readout sits framed by hairlines inside its own pool of light.
