Bahraini Pearl Diving Grey

ProMax

Before oil defined the Gulf, Bahrain's identity was the natural pearl. For a century the Great Dive fleet sailed from Muharraq each June, and the visual culture that surrounded it — tawwash ledgers, chettab contracts, tar-caulked hulls — produced a restrained documentary aesthetic of nacre grey, ink black, and oil-lamp warmth. This design system channels that ledger-at-dusk sensibility: matte off-grey surfaces on deep Gulf-night navy, hairline ruled grids, and a single brass-warm accent that recalls the diver's oil lamp flickering below deck.
