About Banded Agate Slice
Banded Agate Slice distills the look of a Brazilian fortification agate sawn thin and lit from behind on a 1950s–1990s lapidary light-table. Concentric rust, amber, and grey-brown bands wrap a translucent quartz core, glowing against a near-black warm-brown field that makes the orange light read like a backlit stone.
The system is organic and radial, not rectilinear — warm translucent gradients, banded ring rhythm, and a glowing edge against deep umber shadow, built for narrative, collector-grade presentation.
