About Iridescent Scarab Drawer
The Iridescent Scarab Drawer distills the glass-topped entomology collection tray into a design system: rows of pinned Chrysina jewel scarabs on black setting foam, each beneath a small typeset ID label. Structurally coloured through some seventy chitinous layers, the beetles flash bright metallic green, with gold, copper-red, and mirror-silver among them.
This is a dark, disciplined system — black foam ground, gem-like metallic accents, and clean grotesque type matching printed specimen labels. Order, specular highlight, and the museum-cabinet grid are its grammar.
