The Old City of Sana'a is a vertical metropolis of rammed-earth tower houses rising seven storeys, their burnt-brick facades crowned with white gypsum eyebrows and qamariyya stained-glass fanlights that scatter ultramarine and ruby light across stone interiors. This design system captures that mineral palette—saturated brick orange, chalky qudad white, deep fanlight blue—and the dense, decorated layering of 2,500 years of highland architecture.
Every surface carries the hand of the craftsman: the grain of rammed earth, the chalky imperfection of lime plaster, the leaded geometry of coloured glass. The result is warm, vertical, ornate, and unmistakably Sana'ani.
