Turkish Coffee Fortune

ProMax

Turkish Coffee Fortune draws on *kahve falı* — Ottoman tasseography — a divination ritual born in the 16th-century court and harem and still practised across Turkey today. Coffee is brewed in a hammered copper *cezve*, poured into a white porcelain *fincan*, and once drunk the cup is inverted; the future is read from the *kahve telvesi* grounds left clinging to the glaze.

The palette is a lamplit interior: deep roasted-coffee brown ground, copper and brass-leaf highlights, Anatolian terracotta red, and a porcelain off-white rim. Iznik arabesque framing and radial past/future cup divisions carry the narrative, with Reem Kufi and Amiri leading the Arabic-script display.
