Thai Nielloware Thom

Nakhon Si Thammarat nielloware — *kruang thom* — is hammered sterling-silver vessels filled with a shiny black niello alloy of sulphur, copper, silver and lead. The bright silver *kranok* flame-scrollwork stands proud against the deep black inlay, and that contrast is the entire identity.

This design system distils the craft into a screen language: a glossy black niello ground, polished silver line work, engraved scroll borders, and inscriptional serif type. Silver-on-black monochrome — never gilt, never paper.

洛坤府的乌银器（*kruang thom*）以锤揲纯银为胎，再填入由硫、铜、银、铅炼成的"乌银"黑漆般合金。明亮的银色*kranok*火焰卷草纹凸现于深黑镶嵌之上——这道光泽对比，正是它全部的身份。

本设计系统将这门工艺转译为屏幕语言：漆黑如乌银的底色、抛光的银色线条、镌刻的卷草边框，以及碑铭般的衬线字体。银黑单色，绝不鎏金，也绝非纸白。
