Khmer Silver Repoussé

Khmer Silver Repoussé draws from the hammered-silver betel boxes and animal-form vessels of early-20th-century Cambodia, where master smiths chased floral, fruit, and animal relief into ~900-purity sheet. Bright silver highlights catch the light against oxidized gray recesses and deep niello-black shadow.

The system translates that embossed metal surface into a screen language: a cool oxidized-gray ground so motifs read as raised relief, monochrome silver tones, and refined serif type with monumental display accents.

柬埔寨高棉银器锤揲艺术取材自二十世纪初的槟榔银盒与象、狮犬等动物造型器皿。约 1920 年的匠人以约 900 纯度的银片，运用锤揲（repoussé）与錾刻技法，将花卉、果实与动物纹样凸压成浮雕。明亮的银色高光在光线下跃然而出，与氧化的灰色凹陷及深邃的乌银（niello）黑影交织。

本设计系统将这层浮凸的金属表面转译为数字语言：以冷调氧化灰为底色，使纹样如浮雕般凸起；通体银色单色系；搭配精炼的衬线字体与纪念碑式的展示标题，营造出锤揲、錾刻、可触可摸的金属质感。
