Tenet (2020 Inversion)

Tenet is Christopher Nolan's 2020 espionage thriller, shot on 65mm and IMAX by Hoyte van Hoytema across windswept European freeports and bunkers. Its visual language is cold, desaturated slate-blue concrete and brushed steel, organized around a split red/blue inversion logic — red flows forward through time, blue runs inverted.

This design system translates that turnstile symmetry into interface form: a dark slate-blue ground, a disciplined red-versus-blue accent pair, brushed-steel grays, palindromic mirrored typography, and bunker-slab geometry. Every component can hold two states — forward and inverted.
