The Moog modular synthesizer is the foundational electronic instrument of the mid-twentieth century — brushed-aluminum module panels, silk-screened labels, knobs, and color-coded toggle switches, all housed in Bob Moog's iconic solid walnut console and threaded together with curving patch cords.
This design system translates that hardware into an interface language: a dark walnut ground, pale blue-gray panels, condensed technical labeling, and signal-flow patch cords routing color across a grid of rectangular modules.
