About Skeuomorphic iOS
Skeuomorphic iOS is the early-iPhone design language of literal materials — stitched leather notebooks, linen and felt, glossy beveled buttons, and brushed-metal trim. Its most iconic surface is iOS 6's Game Center: a dark green poker-felt tabletop framed by lacquered wood and metal, a look Steve Jobs personally steered toward realistic casino felt.
This system rebuilds that tactile world for the screen: an authentic dark-green felt ground, leather-bound panels, gold stitch-thread seams, and gloss bevels with inner highlights and drop shadows. Nothing is flat; every surface imitates a real material you could touch.
