About Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque
A design system cut from the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque in Abu Dhabi: a page of cool Bianco Sivec marble, gold leaf that catches light along one edge, and lapis, carnelian, amethyst and mother-of-pearl set as small inlays rather than colour fields.
Layouts follow the arcade. Content sits in equal bays under pointed arches, compositions stay axial and mirrored, and Arabic is set properly in Amiri, Noto Naskh Arabic, Reem Kufi and Aref Ruqaa, with Marcellus carrying the Latin.
