Shanghai's Bund was once the most Art Deco square mile on earth — Palmer & Turner's Cathay Hotel, Hudec's Park Hotel, Lu Qianshou's Bank of China. This system channels the 2010s–2020s revival that recodified that heritage into a modern editorial language: Bund-night black, Shanghai rose-gold, jade-green Republic accents, and broadsheet typography drawn from 1930s magazine culture.
The page is night-black because the Bund's defining moment is its lit skyline reflected in the Huangpu River at 11 PM. Rose-gold is the metallic thread that runs through every surface — brass door frames, elevator grilles, cocktail-menu foil stamps.
