PNG Highlands Bilas

PNG Highlands *bilas* is the sing-sing regalia of the Melpa, Chimbu and Jiwaka peoples of Papua New Guinea: faces painted in bright red and yellow stripes from local dyes mixed with oil, charcoal black, and crushed-seashell white, crowned with iridescent bird-of-paradise plumes.

This design system carries that vocabulary to screen — saturated ochre and crimson bands striped over a dark skin-and-face ground, never a light surface, lit up by matte high-chroma color and framed by radiating feather fans.

巴布亚新几内亚高地的 *bilas*（盛装）是梅尔帕、钦布与吉瓦卡族人在「sing-sing」歌舞庆典中的盛装：脸庞用本地染料拌油涂出鲜红与黄赭的条纹，配以木炭黑与碾碎贝壳的白，再戴上闪耀的天堂鸟羽冠。

这套设计系统将这份语汇带入屏幕——饱和的赭黄与绯红色带，条纹般铺在深色肌肤与面部的底色上，绝非浅色背景，由哑光高彩度的色块点燃，并以放射状的羽扇为框。
