Māori Volcanic Stone

ProMax

Māori Volcanic Stone reads at the true charcoal-gray of basalt itself — the dense, fine-grained Ōnewa lava that Māori toolmakers ground smooth into the toki and adze. The ground is dark worked stone, not a museum wall.

The system stays monochrome basalt, broken only by the muted flax-and-wood tan of the lashed haft and the deep green of pounamu greenstone. Solid, weighty, and handmade — surfaces are honed natural stone with a tactile sheen, never glossy plastic or chrome.
