About Mandelbrot Fractal关于 Mandelbrot Fractal
In 1980 at IBM Yorktown Heights, Benoit Mandelbrot rendered the cardioid-and-bulbs silhouette that bears his name onto a Tektronix display. The image fused pure mathematics with computer graphics and became the founding poster of generative art.
The aesthetic is the Mandelbrot zoom itself: a deep-purple void, a saturated rainbow ladder mapping iteration counts, the cardioid's polished black interior, and mono numerics calling out the math. It is dark, precise, scientific, and unapologetically saturated.
