Mahogany Ship Cabin

Mahogany Ship Cabin distills the interior of a 19th-century ocean-going sailing vessel — deep, French-polished mahogany wall paneling, warm and reddish-brown, lit by polished brass portholes and fittings. The reading ground is the dark mahogany panel itself, deeper than the lighter antique-mahogany surface highlight.

Sea charts, engraved joinery, brass rings and rivets supply the ornament. This is pre-1900 maritime luxury rendered for the screen: grained wood and lacquered brass, never cream, never flat.

红木船舱（Mahogany Ship Cabin）提炼自十九世纪远洋帆船的舱内意象——经法式抛光的深色红木墙板，温暖而泛红的棕褐木色，被擦亮的黄铜舷窗与配件点亮。阅读的底色正是那块深沉的红木镶板，比浅一阶的古董红木表面更幽暗。

海图、雕刻细木工、黄铜环圈与铆钉构成全部装饰。这是为屏幕重现的 1900 年以前的航海奢华：有纹理的木材与上漆的黄铜，绝不用奶油色，绝不平淡。
