Kryptonite Green

Kryptonite Green is the glowing radioactive crystal of Silver-Age DC Comics — Superman's one weakness, rendered as a faceted shard emitting acidic rays across a dark inked comic panel. The look is built from CMYK Ben-Day dot fields, thick-bordered retro caption boxes, and the unmistakable neon-green of irradiated mineral.

Drawn from 1950s–1980s North American newsstand comics, the system pairs explosive display lettering with typewriter caption text, deep ink-black grounds, and the four-color print grit where cyan and yellow halftone dots stack to build green over black.
