Iranian New Wave Poster — Cover

About Iranian New Wave Poster

The Iranian New Wave (1969–1979) produced large-format, often hand-painted film posters made on low budgets in single-day runs. The visual language is a grainy ochre-and-burnt-orange duotone photograph over a dark sepia field, overlaid with stark Persian nasta'liq titling.

This system distills that mood — moody, cinematic, pre-revolution Tehran — into a dark, burnt, grain-heavy interface where a single bright accent cuts through the sepia.
