Cursor IDE — Cover

About Cursor IDE

Cursor is the AI-first code editor that forked VSCode and rebuilt it around machine intelligence. Founded by Anysphere in San Francisco in 2023, it grew explosively through 2024 by embedding AI directly into every coding workflow — tab completion, inline chat, multi-file composition — all surfaced through a single electric blue accent against near-black surfaces.

The visual identity is radically minimal: pure dark backgrounds, off-white text, and one chromatic signal reserved exclusively for AI interactions. Code blocks and IDE screenshots are not supporting content — they are the hero. Cursor's brand says nothing it doesn't need to, and the restraint itself is the statement.
