The phosphor-green CRT terminal defined computing's visual identity from the late 1970s through the early 1990s. DEC's VT100 and VT220 established the canonical 80×24 grid of glowing green text on black glass — an interface so iconic it was immortalized in WarGames, Hackers, and The Matrix.
This design system recreates that 3am terminal session: pure black void, P1 phosphor glow, scanline artifacts, and the relentless monospace grid. Every element is rendered as if typed into a VT220 — no curves, no images, just text and light.
